Absolutely, yes! Travel is one of my favorite things to do, especially in the name of love!
Yes, travel fees apply to weddings >150 miles outside of Denver, CO.
I charge a per mile fee of 49 cents/mile over 150 miles, round trip.
For example: if your wedding is 200 miles from Denver, I charge .49x100 — 50 extra miles there, 50 extra back, so $49 in travel.
If your wedding is over 200 miles away and my coverage lasts any later than 9pm, I require 1 night in a hotel, for my own safety. I book this myself and always find the most affordable option in the area!
A highlight film is a short film that takes all of the best moments from your big day to tell your unique story, weaving in all of the best sound bites from speeches & vows, too! Every Base package includes a 4-5 minute highlight film. You can add additional length by the minute if you’d prefer something longer, up to 10 minutes max.
Full highlight films and additional edits, like the full ceremony and speeches & toasts, are delivered within 16 weeks. Wedding teaser trailers are delivered within 4 weeks, and if you’ve added on a social media teaser, it will be delivered the day after (within 24 hours of) your wedding! I do not offer expedited editing at this time, but should note that most full highlight films do not end up taking the full 16 weeks.
I license the music in every film through sites including Musicbed and Soundstripe. Due to copyright restrictions, I cannot take music requests. I believe that music is up there as one of the most important creative elements of your film, and I promise to find songs that elevate your love and personality through the film. However - always let me know if there’s a song you absolutely NEED and I’ll see if I can acquire the licensing rights for your film. If you’d just like sign-off on song selection before I put together the final edit, that can also be arranged, just let me know during our consult call or in the inquiry notes!
200%… literally. I store your footage on two separate hard drives in case one of them ever fails. It hasn’t happened yet, but statistically speaking, it will eventually. If/when it does, not to worry, your footage is safely stored in another location.
I guarantee that I will preserve your RAW footage for at least twelve months after delivering your film.
I make sure to include all of the key moments from your day in your highlight film, so at this time, no, I do NOT offer raw footage.
Just tell me when and where, and I’ll be there! One of the most popular additions that make my wedding films unique is a Storytelling/Adventure session on a day leading up to the wedding (could be months, weeks, or even the day before the wedding at sunrise or sunset)… just imagine us three, a gorgeous sunrise or sunset, a location that matches your style and us just having a time… Whether that be wandering along a woodsy trail, getting lost on the streets of New York or grabbing a drink at your favorite watering hole or coffee shop in downtown Denver, count me in!
Rehearsal dinners and welcome parties also offer amazing opportunities for me to capture audio in a more intimate & relaxed setting of your closest family and friends. I love joining these events for this sole reason.
At the bare minimum, 8 hours allows me to tell a well-rounded story. This is what is included in the Base package. For deeper stories and/or longer, more detailed weddings, I suggest having me for 10-12 hours so I can tell the best, most complete story possible. My maximum working hours per day is 14. This may seem like a lot compared to other videographers, but I think it’s one of the reasons why my films stand out - it just allows me to tell a better story!
I am open to input anytime BEFORE delivering your full film. This means, if there were moments throughout your day or sound bites that were captured that you absolutely want or do NOT want to see in your film, you are free to make me aware of those after your wedding (preferably no more than 4 weeks after) and I am happy to accommodate. However, once the full highlight film has been delivered (as well as your teaser, Reels, and any other edits), you are not entitled to any revisions. Occasionally, on a case-by-case basis and depending on my editing backlog, I will consider minor changes. At the end of the day, I want you to love your film. I do not take this responsibility lightly and will always do my very best to deliver a film you love the first time.
